What We Believe
- 1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God (11Timothy 3:16, in which He has revealed Himself to His creatures (Hebrews 4:12, 1:1-2, Genesis 1:1)
- 2. THE ONE TRUE GOD: We believe the ONE TRUE God who has Revealed Himself in three ways as:
- – God the Father – The Creator (Genesis 1:1)
- – God the Son – The Saviour (John 1:1-12)
- – God the Holy Spirit – The Comforter
- 3. We believe the Bible is our all sufficient rule for faith and practice. It shows us our need of a Saviour (Romans 3:23) and present that Saviour to us, the LORD JESUS CHRIST who on Calvary’s cross made a perfect ATONEMENT for our sins (Acts 13:38-39, 1John5:12-13).
- 4. We believe that all who truly accept the GOSPEL are BORN AGAIN (1Peter 1:23, 11 Corinthians 5:17), are SEALES with the HOLY SPIRIT (Ephesians 1:13, 11 Corinthians 1:22), and are member of the Body of Christ (1Corinthians 12:13).
- 5. We believe in the Lord’S coming for His Body the CHURCH, which may occur at any moment (1Thess. 4:13-18), and in view of the nearness of His return we believe that the greatest need in the world today is a return to the WORD OF GOD through which alone can come a spiritual awakening (Hebrews 4:12).
- 6. We believe that to subscribe to any other than the Bible, to REFUSE TO OBEY any New Testament Command, or to follow any practice not sustained by the BIBLE would be adding to or TAKING from the teachings of God (Galatians 1:6-9), Revelation 22:18-19).
- 7. THE WORD OF GOD: We accept the Bible as the word of God and its Teaching and Doctrine (Hebrews 1:1-2, 2Timoty 3:16, John 1:1).
- 8. THE DEITY OF CHRIST: We accept Lord Jesus Christ as the internal son of God and Saviour. We accept the following about Him:-
- – His VIRGIN BIRTH – Isaiah 7:4, Mathew. 1:23, (Luke. 1;35).
- – His VIRGIN BIRTH – Isaiah 7:4, Mathew. 1:23, (Luke. 1;35).
- – His works (Miracles) – Mathew 8:23-26, Mark.8:19-20.
- – His atonement on the cross – Romans 5:8-10, 2Corinthians 5:21, Hebrew 9:22, Romans 5:18.
- – His Bodily Ascension – Acts 1:9-11, Mark.16:19.
- – His Personal Future Return – Acts 11. 1Thesselonians 4:13-18, Jude 14:15.
- 9. REDEMPTION OF MANKIND:
- – We believe in the redemption of man through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Romans 5:15, Genesis3:15, John 3:16.)
- – Salvation is by Grace through Faith in Christ Ephesians 2:8-9
- – Assurance of Salvation (Romans 8:17-18).
- 10. THE HOLY SPIRIT
- – The Holy Spirit is the third person of God head.
- – The Holy Spirit imparts power to witness for Christ (Acts 1:8, 4:31).
- – The Holy Spirit is for every believer (Acts 2:38-39).
- – The endowment of power from on high upon the sanctified life should be earnestly desired by all believers.

- 11. DIVINE HEALING
- – God is the healer of His people (Isaiah 53:3-5).
- – Healing is a free gift and must be received by faith (James 5:15-16).
- – MEDICAL TREATMENT: (a) We are not against medical treatment. (b) We are against going to Native doctors and sacrifices (1 John 5:21, 1Cor. 10:20).
- – Fasting and Prayer: we accept linking prayers with fasting (Mark 9:29).
- 12. HOLINESS AND SANCTIFICATION
- – There must be separating from sin. God commanded us “Be ye holy for I am Holy” (1Peter 1:16-16).
- – We preach Christ crucified for our sins, risen again for our justification, coming again to Rapture His Church (1Corinthians 15:3, Roman 4:25, 1Thesselonians 13:17).
- – Then they that gladly received His word were baptized, and they continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship and breaking of bread in prayers. (Acts 2:41-47).
- – We preach that God is mercy and merciful (Luke 6:36), His mercy is upon them that fears Him (Luke 1:50), it is of His mercy we are not destroyed (Lamentation 3:22), it is not of him that willeth or him that runeth but of God that showeth mercy (Romans 9:16), for we are save by mercy and not words of righteousness (Titus 3:5), and mercy is the founder of ministry (2Corinthians 4:1) so we should be merciful for blessed are the merciful for they shall see God (Mathew 5:7).
