POST COVID-19 SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE

The project aims to support families of those who have just recovered from Covid-19 by supporting their wellbeing, daily exercise, reduced anxiety and help them to get a job and those who lost loved ones through Covid-19 by offering bereavement counselling and signposting them to the right place for support.
The beneficiaries of the Project are male and female aged between 40 to 65 years and the BAMEs, Single Parents, Homeless, Disabled, Unemployed and Mental Health Patients.
Due to the lockdown, the significant part of the project would be done online. The project would be working on weekly support group via Zoom and WhatsApp, face to face meeting and doorstep support meetings observing social distancing, telephone support group and monthly workshops.

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:
• Stay at home as much as possible
• Work from home if you can
• Limit contact with other people
• Keep your distance from people not in your household (2 metres apart where possible)
• Wash your hands regularly
• Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.
• Find out what support you can get:
For example, if you’re out of work, need to get food, or want to take care of your mental
health.
